Returns, Refunds, Order Cancellation Policy
Refund/ Return /Order Cancellation Policy – A Generous 3 Tier 30 Day Policy:
We greatly appreciate your trust and faith in Southern Star Scientific, our company, employees, and the equipment we manufacture. As such we have implemented generous return policies that exceed those of all other companies in the industry. We are shoppers too, so our goal has always been to treat our customers as we would like to be treated by the companies we deal with. Before Shipment Takes Place:
Full Refund for cancellations are provided to customers who cancel their order before shipping takes place. After the product has been shipped, the order cannot be cancelled.
After Shipment Takes Place:
We have a 30 day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return authorization. To return a product it is important to first provide proof of purchase - please ensure you keep your receipt or paid invoice. The product being returned must be in the same condition in which you received it, and it must be packaged in exactly the same way you received it in order to ensure the product is protected from damage during shipment. Products that are not returned in their original shipping packaging will likely be damaged in transit in which case cost of repair of said damage will be the responsibility of the customer. Before returning any product, the customer must first contact our staff. If your return is accepted you will be provided an RMA (Return to Manufacturer Authorization) number from Southern Star staff. You may start this return process by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your return is accepted we'll send you an RMA number which must be clearly displayed on the outside of the box, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return, or items returned without the RMA number on the outside of the box will not be accepted.
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right for you.
Full Refund Time Period Offer 10 days (read these conditions carefully please):
We provide every customer with 10 days to inspect the product to ensure that the product quality meets their expectations. If the product(s) do not meet your expectations you can ship the product back to us for a full refund (minus original and return shipping charges), on the condition that the products are in "new" condition and have not been altered, marked, damaged. Certain items are not returnable. For example, accessories that you have purchased with the system must NOT be used. Any accessories that have been used are non-refundable, non-returnable. Employees in our shipping department will thoroughly examine all returned products to ensure the return meets these conditions. If the products are not returned in “new” condition, customer will be responsible to pay for any repairs necessary to bring the product back to new condition, and the cost of doing so will be debited from the original purchase price paid for the product and the remaining funds returned to the customer.
30 Day Return Policy: Customers who wish to return their products for a refund after day 10 must have the products delivered back to Southern Star Scientific (Washington Depot Address) within 30 days after their receipt of the products. Refund minus 15% restocking fee is granted on the Ozone Generator. No refunds are provided on used accessories. Any accessories returned for refund must be returned still sealed in their packages and not used. Any accessories that are outside of the original packaging, or damaged, or used in any way are non-refundable.
Refunds: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
